Yes, we need the Ki-44-II-Hei, which in the USA is designated as the Ki-44-IIb like in my signature.  This was the most produced version of the Ki-44.  Four 12.7mm machine guns might not sound like very good firepower, but compared to other early/mid war IJAF fighters it is very good.

I think the Ki-44-II-Hei would make a superlative addition for 1.10 given the aircraft that have been announced so far.
