Doesn't that sound more like a tarrif than a tax?  Is this in retaliation for our steel tarrifs?  Seems a bit overkill to me.  You guys trying to start a trade war?

 Next,

It said in the article that you guys pay up to 25% sales tax?!?!?!?!?!?!?!?! Just wait until the EU starts adding it's taxes on top of your state taxes if it hasn't already.  I'm scared for you Euro's, it must really suck to be a conservative over there.  Whew!
Word of advice is to get out of the EU if you still can.  Why do you need another level of government anyway?

Politicians hate the internet, whatever they try to say.

They hate the way it removes things from their control.

Europe has been trying to come up with a way of introducing this tax for years.

They don't understand the way the net works, and this tax isn't going to be implemented.

Sooner or later someone is going to point out to them that putting 20% tax on an already expensive product, when it's probably easier to download it illegally, and pay nothing, is stupid.

Stupid internet laws come, stupid internet laws go... anyone remember the UN proposed e-mail tax?

Where did it go? To the same place this tax will go... to the hell of inutility.
