the lancasters used to carry these bombs had a re-designed bomb bay which bulged and run the whole length of the plane..
they were also named earthquake bombs and were used against mainly dams, where they exploded some meters below the surface and caused such a shock wave that all organic material just desolved.

Is that really true about Hitler being on an airbase that was almost overrun by soviet troops?  I never heard that before.  If its true I would like to hear the whole story.  I had always thought Hitler stayed away from the front lines.

I would like to see the Gigant as a small (5-10 pt) perk. It should carry double or quad supplies/troops (and when troops are dropped they should go two at a time) or one of the lighter vehicles so that a player can fly somewhere then drive to the target.

Why such a low Perk value? Because the survival rate will be very low.

Fascinating. I've never heard of this before and it isn't mentioned in either of the biographies I've read. Can you tell us where you got this factoid Fdiron?
