Today is a sad day :(
« on: April 23, 2001, 07:58:00 AM »
Had to rush to the hospital this morning, "lil tip for ya do not open cans with a manual can opener and when top sticks do not try and pry it off" almost chopped off my damn thumb.  So I will be out of the fighter cockpit for 10 days, I can still goon and possibly buff a few runs.  Can't do crap left handed and I cannot move my right hand.  After thinking about everything maybe this will give me sometime to think about this sim.  I have read what everyone has put in.

But to sum it all up "its the hispanos".
I know the difference between a good pilot and a newbie when i die, I guess it is just frustrating that they can hit so far out and kill with a hit or two.  Giving it a 70 perk value you will see these guys that go out and get 3 kill runs watch their perk resevoir dry up soon.

maybe u can use the time to improve on that third grade grammar.   I watched a chog blast you when you were in a ta152.  the guy that got you is very good and you made a fatal error in judgement.  you got hit at about d5 from what i could see.   you were hiding in the ack umbrella of the cv and trying to b&z a bunch of us at the field who couldn't come up due to your carrier ack.  you were with a P38 who also died.   you simply got to close to the fight in your precious perkie.

Sturm, take this time to ignore laz, and to slow down on flying so much, you might find renewed spirit in the game (after reading your boredom thread)

hope you recover fast.

Have already got the .squelch spaz enabled.  I had a lot of time off work the last couple weeks what better way to kill time.  I am also moving in 5 weeks and chances are I wont be online for quite sometime so best to get in what ya can before the ooppurtunity is lost mentallity started.  TO be honest it isn't the amount of time that has made it boring it is the variety that has.

I am still shaking my head at how a N1k Can zoom climb with a Dora at 15K.

I like to mess up my thumbs too..

Once when I was assembling model of a ship ( the Titanic       ), I did slice with paper cutter knife (or whatever that somewhat sharp & small knife is)
It wen't halfa centimeter over my nail and one centimeter over the flesh..
That caused as deep flesh wound as it can go in the flesh behind the nail
didn't hurt at all though.

A week after I had that same thumb between a door and the wall... now that hurt and alot.
caused even the nail to go bit flatter for years.

Also right thumb hasn't been saved from the pain..
I messed it up when the bikes wheel didnt turn and I flew over the bike due to sudden stop..
Thumb swelled up alot and doctor said tendom (or whatever) had a fracture.

so ugh.. so I know your pain Sturm... hopefully it'll gets to be fine quickly

I know that a thumb can hurt.
My middle finger got stuck once between two bars of a beach-type chair ( the one that folds) 10mm of space with my 18mm finger in it.Yaaaoooooh.
All the flesh was torn off, damn i cursed.
Drove to the hospital with one hand, difficult.

Hope you recover soon,
