Maybe I'm biased because I swore off anything VIA a very long time ago.  Looking over quite a number of threads in this forum, the major headaches always seem to have VIA in the text somewhere.

....is it just me?

KT266a is a winner in many hardware site, as well as the last issue of Maximum PC Magazine.  I have built a dozen of em this year without issue.

"Among all the chipsets that were available for the Athlon platform, the KT266A was the one that offered the best performance by far as well as extended functionality. "
