Very sad to hear Mav

I very much enjoyed pitting my meager 51 skills against the likes of you, Ice, Thunder and Midnight.

Hopefully a couple more of you come over to fly Rookland every once in a while.  Theres just not enough good 51 pilots here.  Even got a chance to wing with Midnight for the first time a week or two ago and had a blast doing it.  Its amazing what kind of damage a pair of 51s can do when flown smartly.

Like I ever fly a 51 smartly  .  I cant seem to remember that the 51 isnt a zeke

Just a guess as I haven't talked with him lately but perhaps he finally got tired of some folks who cannot put the past behind them, particularly in an unrelated "game" environment.

I think it was a wise move and I congratulate him for it.

Salute from an old adversary, Mav.

I really couldnt stand the 13th Tas in AW. Really. Something about Doom's tactic of pushing the new guys out in front of him as bait probably. Could never understand why you and Ghost put up with it.

It's funny what time does cos I'm still sad to hear they've folded.

Voss and others from the 13th. My reply is in the old squad forum.

I am not sure.. heard he flies from time to time.. maybe under a new handle. He was one of the best pony pilots in the game.

Don't think theres any bad blood at all.. I know and respect every ex 13TAS member... I know that Ice wanted to spend some more time with his family and wanted to enjoy his style of flying when he occasionally got on. I respect that and admire him for it.

Even if I did know his handle.. if he even has one  ..  My tounge would be cutout and a wiseguy named Guedo would visit me and break my kneecaps if I revealed it. hehe

Well...

Looks like I'm over a decade late to the disbanding party.  Stumbled on these boards by accident and seeing such a wide spread of familiar names from my sim flying days brought more than a few fond memories back.  Hope some of you are still around and if you are, you have my sharpest *salute*

Thanks for letting me be part of this community :)

I remember when squads like the 13th tas roamed the skies, and everybody was in a squad like that. One of the things I noticed when I came back to AH was that most players didn't seem to be in a squad, and of the squads that did exist, only a couple seemed to behave like squads.
