I think the P51B's Eny should be lowered from 35 to 40. My reasons for this are-

(1) P51B only has four machine guns.
(2) Ammo load is very meager.
(3) Rear view is not very good.
(4) Durability of P51B is lacking.
(5) Canopy frames block view similarly to that of F4U-1.

Hehe, kind of funny how people view planes differently. I have long considered the P-51b to be possibly the best fighter in the game. Its the one that works the best for my style of fighting, and the one I always go back to whenever I get frustrated from getting shot down in other planes.

I don't know that there is a better 190 killer than the P-51B... if so... I haven't flown it. The nicest thing about the b-pony is everyone's tendancy to underestimate it.

Performance wise... its in the upper 40% of aircraft (IMO)... but is very beatable by comparitive skilled pilots in a number of aircraft.

Hehe. Bpony is the same as a the Dpony imo. If you latch onto someone's 6 to get a good burst, it dont matter if its 4 or 6 MG's, youll kill it. Plus, the B is green

I'm with Durr & DJ here. The b is one of the best in the stable. Whoopin D's in the B near the deck is a hoot.

Underestimated is right on the money.

(Last Tour)The P-51B has 2463 kills and has been killed 2604 times.

Compare this to the F4U-1, which is Eny 40

(This Tour) The F4U-1 has 1421 kills and has been killed 1479 times.
(Last Tour) The F4U-1 has 3846 kills and has been killed 3390 times.

The P51B is performing below that of an eny 40 plane (F4U-1). I would be happy to see the P51B have an eny of 40.
