INTRODUCING THE GREAT AMERICA OIL EMBARGO.....

Where to buy gasoline and not support terrorism.   Yisrael Medad of the Begin Center sent the following information.
Every time you fill up the car, you can avoid putting more money into the coffers of Saudi Arabia.
Just buy from gas companies that don't import their oil from the Saudis.

Nothing is more frustrating than the feeling that every time I fill-up the tank, I am sending my money to people who are trying to kill me, my family, and my friends. I thought it might be
interesting for you to know which oil companies are the best to buy gas from. Major companies that import Middle Eastern oil (for the period 9/1/00 -8/31/01).

Shell . . . . . . . . . . .   205,742,000 barrels
Chevron/Texaco . . . 144,332,000 barrels
Exxon/Mobil  . . . . . 130,082,000 barrels
Marathon . . . . . . . . 117,740,000 barrels
Amoco . . . . . . . . . . .62,231,000 barrels
If you do the math at $30/barrel, these imports amount to over $18 BILLION! Here are some large companies that do not import Middle Eastern oil:
Citgo . . . . . . . . 0 barrels
Sunoco . . . . . . 0 barrels
Conoco . . . . . . 0 barrels
Sinclair . . . . . . 0 barrels
BP/Phillips . . . .0 barrels
All of this information is available from the Department of Energy and can be easily documented. Refineries located in the US are required to state where they get their oil and how much they are importing. They report on a monthly basis.

Keep this list in your car; share it with friends.

I am sending this note to lots of people. If each of you send it to at least 10 more and those 10 send it to at least 10 more and so on, by the time the message reaches the sixth iteration, we will have
reached over one million consumers. Acting together we can make a difference. If this makes sense to you, please pass this message on, or one you compose, to at least 10 more E-mail addresses.

If you're not outraged, you're not paying attention UNITED WE STAND!!!
~ AMERICAN ECONOMICS IN ACTION!!!~

FREEDOM IS A CHOICE

Just a note from me, but if we bought gas from these companies would gas get cheaper as a result? and AMOCO i thought was part of BP now

So, lets just say EVERYONE decided to buy from those "0" import companies, we'd have  a shortage and they would then start importing no? ;)

Best thing you could do is get rid of old gaz-guzzlers and buy new vehicles with better mpg.
1) If you buy U.S made cars you also create jobs and boost your economy.
2) Less dollars going abroad.
3) Less pollution.

New turbo-diesels put cars with same size petrol engines in shame... about same hp but some diesels have twice as much torque and that is what moves the car :)

simple gas isnt the only thing petro products are used in. Everything within your reach right now most likely has petro chemicals/products in it.

Getting rid of gas engines wont remove the need for mid east oil.

But not totally Bogus

I have read their whole report and the author of the original piece in question has included the date and place he found the information. The information may be out of date by a year or so but most of it still valid IMO. I'm sure more research can be done but for now thats all I needed to hear from both sides of this topic.
Chicago, as some of you may know, has been in the news many times as a result of 9/11. We have one of the largest Arab populations in America along with Detroit and a few others I don't really know. Money from here IS  filtering itself into terrorist hands with the help of many businesses located here in the United States. The US government has not shut down and or investigated these businesses for nothing and I have made my decision of where I will feel best at purchasing my fuel. It's up to each and everyone of you too make your own decisions on what you want to do concerning any matter, this is mine. I'm not paranoid but I am concious of the problems we face here. Although I may feel better about my decision to not buy from any Arab business no matter what it is, I will never feel safe about our future as a country again. The facts are clear. We have a never ending problem on our hands with no clear solution as with Israel. They may hate them worse but in the end we will always be there to back up another Demorcratic society.
(IMO)    On another note, I believe eventually mid east world problems will bring us into a war they want and we will end up fighting the people who want to destroy us.
It's the American way.

Nice thought in theory.

When it hits the pipelines it’s all the same.

They mix the “your brand here” additives at the distribution points when they fill the tankers. Well, this is the case in the Mid-West. When they have a different type of hydrocarbon formula (Diesel, Kerosene…a.k.a. Jet Fuel, etc.), they place a plug in the pipe to separate the different type grade of hydrocarbons in the system.
