At the risk of getting trolled:

Dude, this is all old news, you're right. And it's been gone over in the O'Club. I dissagree with your assessment.

I'm feeling compelled to defend the Bush family.

What has happened to me????????

OTOH

From his record in office so far with regards to legislation signed into law... Bush seems more a Democrat than a Republican. I don't think there is an issue yet that the Democrats want that he hasn't waffled a bit then dropped his pants and grabbed his ankles and signed. Seems the Dems would want to keep him right where he is, their little president-squeak.

Just my observation.

He fumbled big time on Stem Cell research AFAIK. Acted like the Religious Right's boy servant.

Aren't these the same "idiots" who made a show of bipartisan support by singing "God Bless America" on the Capitol steps?

That's about the only thing I found humorous at the time, I laughed out loud.

Sikboy. First I'm making a "preposterous allegation".  Then its oh ya, thats old news.  Next. You don't agree with my assessment.  What assessment?  You made a little joke.  I expanded on it.

If you are interested in my assessment, here goes.

Sophomoric remarks aside (I just pulled the first quotes that popped up in the search engine).  There are some basic facts in those quotes.  Suspicious facts.  On the serface, so what. This all happened years before 9.11.  But, there is something fishy going on with the Bush's and the Saudi's.  Nearly all of the 9.11 terrorist were Saudi.  Do we attack Saudi Arabia? No we attack Afghanistan.  We declare war on countries that support terrorist. The Saudi's do so with millions of dollars. Do we attack them? No.  Abdulla comes to town, and orders Jr. around like one of his harem.  What does Jr. do.  Just what he is told.

Now, I am far removed from the ruling classes.  And I have about as much chance of finding out what is going on here. As I do finding out what really happened to Kennedy. But I smell a rat.

FWIW.  I think Jr. is a good President.  At a time when America needs a Great President.  This is no small matter.  For example. LBJ was a good President, when the nation needed a great one.  The man was a quitter.  If the British had, had LBJ instead of Churchill. They would have been speaking German for the last 50 years.
We still don't know where this is all leading. And we may need someone with more snap, and NO middle eastern ties at all, before it is over.

My position hasn't changed. But you do a good job of making it sounds as if it has.

The fact that these things have cropped up in the past doesn't make them any less preposterous. I was so confident that you were trolling that I didn't want to put in much effor in refutation. But since you've taken the next step, I will too.

The easiest to refute is the Secret Bin Laden Escape plan. This is really why I figured that this was a troll. It has been widely reported that this little gem was a mistake from the begining, largely being attributed to Micheal Moore. The Bin Ladens did leave the country. But it was one week after the attacks, and after plane were flying again.

As far as the Carlyle group goes... They are an international Investment firm. They take money, and turn it into more money. It is not  odd that they would take money from some Saudi Oil Barons. The fact that Pres. Bush Sr. has met with these people, in a professional capacity is not anything criminal. Given that the Bin Ladin family, outside of Osama, has not been indicted on any crime, much less found guilty really makes me wonder why you hate the guys so much?

Prince Abdulla shows up in Texas. You would have us believe that he dictated terms to the President of the United States. That's one way to interpret the move that Bush made. I personally have a different interpretation. That he made a move that would distance himself from the actions of Israel. This would give us the ability to dodge some of the bad press we were getting, while at the same time not actually doing anything. It was a win for the US, and since Israel didn't actually have to comply with our demands, they win too. In fact everyone wins.

As far the "assesment" that I refered to. You gave these little tidbits much more credence than I did. Your assessment was that they had merit. My assessment is that they don't.

The fact that the liberal media didn't latch onto this, but rather the relationship between the Carlyle Group and Crusader speaks volumes to me.
