Rally Trophy

Wow this is a sweet game.  My dad used to own a Cortina and a Saab V4 and now I can race them.  :)

Anybody here play it?

Any clue on how to get it to recognize seperate throttle and brake axes on my Logitech Wingman Formula Force?  It assumes I have combined axes no matter what setting I choose.  :(

You had Ford Cortina's in the US? I thought they were just a Euro car.

My dad had one - it was awful. :) The only things I remember about it was the brown colour and the time I locked the keys inside, aged about 5 y/o.

In town I used to live were many ford freaks:
One of my friends have restored Lotus Cortina MkI and another one is building Escort Mk1 with 2liter DOHC (Cyl-head was in a flow-bench test; +170hp).
15y ago we built a Mk1 Escort with quite wild 1800cc "Kent".
Most powerful Escort there were was a old Mk1 with turbo charged Cosworth BDA  from old rally-cross escort. In first evening out from a garage owner did melt two pistons :D

Opel Kadet Rallye Coupe is my favourite, we had regular Opel Kadet '72 when I was a kid. :)

I  downloaded the demo, bought the game at discount on the net the next day. Played quite a bit for a week or two, then forgot about it.  It's a great game, love the cars and graphics, love the damage, jumping and crashing, the instant replays etc.  I hate the load time and frame rate.  My system is a P-II 350 with a Herules Prophit II vid card, it's just enough to play AH, but many areas in RT my frame rate dropped to 1!  Hard to correct for a slide on a narrow road with that kind of feedback.

(PS, it's the only non flight/prop sim game that I have ever purchased for myself)

Skurj you big nerd.  :)
I noticed that the default cars all have fantasy paint jobs.
Do you know if anybody has done cars with historical paint jobs and sponsor markings?  It would be cool to race with these cars looking as they actually did "back in the day".
