Germans and brits had lots of co-operation behind the scenes what comes to aircraft developement. :p
Here's one of their achievement, the Spitfeuer Mk V, besides the german markings, what else do you find different to english made "Spitfire Mk V" -version? :)

I know, it looks sort of like a 109, just a little though, becuase of the big-ass engine

Yes, it is equipped with DB605 (109G) engine.
But there were a 109 with Rolls-Royce engine too :D

It's not a B17-F, it's a Dornier Do. 200.

And the 109 prototype sported a Rolls Royce Kestrel engine because the planned engine was not ready in time for the first flight. I have to say it was smurfy!
