Oob be do

My son was given a musical video tape called "Wiggles"...I think it is Aussie based.

Anyway, in the video they constantly use the expression "Ooh be do".  For example, "Ooh be do...lets sing a song"

The only other use of that phrase I have heard was in "A Clockwork Orange".  It was in the scene where Dim backed down to a challenge from Alex in the Korova Milk Bar after Dim made fun of the woman singing to Mozart.    With Alex staring at him waiting for an answer to his challenge to a scrap, Dim says "Ooh be do...a bit tired maybe."

Anyone have any idea of the origin of the silly little phrase "Ooh be do"?  Is it cockney?

Some will fall in love with life and drink it from a fountain that is pouring like an avalanche coming down the mountain
