Does AH suport CH Pro peddle toe breaks? If so, how do I set it up?

Cougar supports the toe brake axes but in a nonstandard manner.  In order to get your CH Pro Pedals (gameport version) to work, you will need to rewire the pots inside the rudders and create a custom rudder cable.

There is a thread entitled "CH Pedals Pro" at the hardware forum at cougar.frugalsworld.com that provides the pin-out for Cougar's rudder port.  I wired my CH Pro Pedals in accorance with that diagram and all three axes are recognized by Cougar and work perfectly.

The rewiring is necessary because the toe brake pots come from the factory with just two of the three leads connected (i.e., they are intended to provide a variable current, rather than a variable voltage).  Cougar expects a variable voltage for the toe brakes, so you must wire a ground connection to both of those, which you must connect to your custom cable, in accordance with Cougar's pin-out.  Also, you need to switch the two leads on both brake pots, because the +5V lead is connected to the wiper (center) terminal.  After the switch, the sense lead (black or brown, depending on whether you are looking at the left or right toe-brake pot) should be in the center and the +5V lead (blue) should be on one of the outer terminals.  The ground connection should go on the other outer teriminal.  Note that the rudder pot has just two leads (i.e., it is configured to provide a variable-current).  Leave those two leads alone.  Cougar was designed to work with "standard" analog pedals and expects a variable-current signal for the rudder.

Hope that helps - JNOV

Sorry - I misread your post.  I thought you were asking about using Pro Pedals with a Cougar.

Anyway, as maddog1 said, AH does support toe brakes.  If you've got the USB Pro Pedals, just plug them in (they are automatically recognized), go into AH's Setup>Joystick>Select Joystick screen, and assign the left and right toe brake axes to the left and right toe brakes of Pro Pedals.  You may want to calibrate your controllers within AH after you assign the axes.

As above.  CH Pro pedals USB will work straight away.  The analogue/gameport ones need a bit of jiggery pokery to the wiring.  Not too difficult but you need to be a bit handy with a soldering iron.  The thread concerned is here
