<S!>
Had some great fights these past few weeks and just wanted to say thanks.  I just realized that I didn't say <S> or thanks for the fights in the arena so I thought I would take some time now to do it.

Hey Mathman!

Yep, you sure handed me my arse on a plate last night. I was following you in your low 6, flying a P38L with 10 rockets. These were destined for some PT boats, but you appeared so I followed you.  You said you saw me, but I’d love to know what head position you have for your 6 view. Probably like that African tribe that puts rings round their necks to stretch them. I did not have time to dump my rockets, and what with the crappy P38 outside views I lost sight of you and was soon dead. Great kill! Afterwards I decided to concentrate on PT boats. I think I’ve got the hang of killing them – with rockets. Got 6 of them in one sortie  :) But they come straight back  :(

BTW, the F6F was my favourite plane in Warbirds. I even wrote an 11 page document of flying tips for it. Whether these would work in AH remains to be seen. I used the F6F for jabo sorties in WB. Best tour was 428 kills, 175 deaths – but jabo is SO risky, and WB does not allow separate scoring of attack sorties. Had I stuck to purely fighter sorties, my death tally that tour would have been much less. But that would have been dweebish and boring.

I’m just getting ready to leave for Xmas – back in about 10 days, and would love to go over our collective F6F ideas if you’re up for that.

Why is your handle Mathman?

Merry Xmas!
