HT what buffs will have the "Box" feature?

I'm going to assume that the B17 and Lanc will have it, but what about the Ju88, Ki67, A20, Boston, TBM, and the B26?

Beware the Buffs

Having gone through all of this just a couple of years ago, in AW. I can tell ya that something like this can be a real bear in this simulation:
Consider this: I am a member of the SkyKnights Bomber/Fighter Group. We have flown together for many years now. We enjoy flying bombers and all of the chatter that goes on during a long flight. We don't mind taking the time of get to target and we are very good about defending the bombers our fighter guys know how to keep us alive. When you start to mess with the status quo, you are messing with what we like to do most in AH. For some reason it seems that everybody thinks the Bombers are too powerful. If that is the case so far this month I have made 199 bomber flights and have been killed 162 times, I never leave home with out my SKColt gunner, who is something to behold when it comes to gunning. I think if you look at other confirmed Bomber pilots you will see similar Stats on flights/killed.

But let me paint the future for you: We usually up 7 bombers and 5 fighters, we also fly with the Flying Tigers who up around 4 bombers, and with the Hired Guns who up 3 to 4 bombers. That is about 15 bombers in a flight, most are gunned, so with the new rules this is what you get 15X4=60 bombers with 2 gunners each. Now I wonder just how many defenders it will take to stop that many bombers.
Anytime you change a simulation that will effect one group or the other you are asking for trouble. But then again this may not be a simulation at all, it may just be a game. And the only skill you need in a game is Low Ping Times and you are the winner.

I love to see airplanes fly in formation. I think this new box pattern will be awesome.

Hopefully when they add it, at the same time, they will remove the ability to perform surgical bombing.

So you will need 60 bombers to do the same job.

The aiming of bombs sounds pretty complicated

I got the impression it will be something similar to what you do when aiming the Guns on your cruiser.

I wouldnt worry.  The bomb dispersion is going to be such a factor that you will need many bombers to be effective, I have a feeling they may need to increase the explosion size or reduce the amount of damage needed to destroy a hangar.

I am hoping that if you up 60 bombers, you will be 90% likely to wipe the base if they all make it, and get there eggs reasonably on target.  I think they should modify bomb strengths, building strengths to historical measures when this is done.

I think a good way to do this would be research an attack using whatever planes pic your interest and see what number was able to do what kind of damage under 'perfect' conditions.  Then go from there.  If you find that it took 80 ju88s to level some city in poland? england? russia?  Then it should take 80 ju88s to level a capital city in AH.  Whatya think?
