At 3:00 p.m. every year on Memorial Day, you are invited to join Americans throughout the world in observing one minute of silence in a National Moment of Remembrance. No matter wherever you are, simply pause for one minute to reflect on the sacrifices of the men and women of the Armed Forces who died in service to our country. If you are driving your car, please turn your lights on at 3:00 p.m. for the National Moment of Remembrance. In this act of national unity to honor our country's fallen, many communities, radio stations and public events will mark the Moment by playing "Taps."
