Since I also asked the same question (among others) in SETUP CM e-mail I sent out to the friday squads here (sorry for the duplication skernsk) here are the squad answers I have gathered along with the summing up the answers in this thread:

There will be no Tempests in the TOD, but 262's were there in limited numbers and could be a possibility.

as long as the Fighters are close by, the 262's will have thier hands fulll.
