Sidewinder has lost hat views??
« on: May 30, 2002, 04:44:58 PM »
I have been playing with my new joystick for about a week with no trouble. Last night however, after playing hockey with a game controller, I was unable to get throttle, rudder or hat views on joystick when I returned to AH.  I usually have both plugged in to an internal usb. When I came back in to AH the paddle was working and not the stick. I have been able two return my throttle and rudder via setup\joystick but have no luck with the hats??  They appear to be there....... and I am asked if I want to reset from its old setting if I try to change. I would assume this means they are ready but somehow not engaged.......any suggestions please.

I do not have a profile I am aware of but will look around to be sure.  I have used the Pad previously to drive tanks and boats.

Thanks

Remove jstick, reboot, plug jstick back in.
Recalibrate in AH.

If its still messed up, you can try renameing the stick.cfg file so AH will make a new default one.
