I havent really read much of this whining about la7s or perks or bombers cuz it isnt worth the time

but every time i do click on those threads it seems that the same people instigate every single fight

I'm glad pyro is getting a little more liberal with his moderator powers because some people really do need some time to rethink what the hell they're saying because they look like total asses.

Roy,

You have an attitude son.  And it's irritating.

The general tone of your posts over the last few days has been overwhelmingly critical of both HTC and AH.  While I doubt sincerely that anyone would call the current state of AH "perfect", I think that most people understand that it is a constantly evolving product which has been produced by dedicated people with as much experience in the field as anyone.

One of the things I have enjoyed about AH since the beta days is that constructive criticism and suggestions are duly considered by HTC.  Are they all implemented? Of course not.  But the AH of today is a quantum leap beyond the beta version, and I expect that the AH of three years from now will be equally different and exciting.

I would suggest that you consider the tone of your posts.  I know that when I read what you have to say, the credibility of your comments is reduced to zero by the volume of the whining.

The thought that comes to mind first is "well, if this guy really doesn't like AH that much, why are is he bothering to play?".

Think about what you are saying, and just as importantly, how you say it.

Remember the poll where we were asked what type of publications we read? I'll bet HTC is getting ready for some advertizing blitz and it would be sad to have them put out a substantual amount of money trying to get new players only to have them read these boards and get turned off by them. Waistng marketing cash is not wise...If I'm right, I see why their cracking down. If I'm wrong I'm still glad something is being done.

I feel the planes are in great shape!!  All have their strong points as well as weak ones.  Learn to use your plane's strenghts and exploit your enemy planes weekness and you can win.

It takes alittle bit of flying time.

I tend to discover these points vice complaining. IT just seems more fun that way.  Since I pay HTC to fly a virtual plane in their creation,  I might as well get what I pay for.

IT must be terrible to pay $15 a month to enjoy a recreational activity and just look at the negative things.   Well to each his own!

I believe most of us realize HT believes the planes are balanced.  If he didn't believe they were balanced he'd probably fix them.

What would of been the outcome if he said, "Actually NO I do not believe the planes in AH are balanced!" ?

Just like when your wife (or girlfriend) ask you, "Do I look fat in this dress?"   There is only one possible answer!!

Have A Nice Day!!    :)

Rock: Well that's where I got it, he's my son.
Powell: Really Rock, well I'd like to meet him.
Rock:  No ya wouldn't.

Wow, Roy is at it again! His last whine was how he managed to crash his 262 with auto-take off on.

This just in....

"HT says that vodka martinis are better the gin martinis"!!!!

The fact that anyone in that organization would suggest that you can make a martini with vodka is unbelievable. And I'll have you know that I HAVE done test's. And they are ABSOLUTEly (no pun intended) off their collective rockers. A gin Martini stays an average of 5 degrees colder at 25k in a P47-D30 then a similar vodka based drink.

PERK THE GIN DAMIT!!!!!

HIC!!!! Avid  BURP!!!!

I always wonder when I read repeated affirmations of deep unhappiness......

Why do people voluntarily keep doing something that makes them unhappy?

Or is the the old "We're not happy until YOU'RE not happy" syndrome?

I've played this game for almost a year, and I still suck.

I suck equally well in all planes, all maps, against all opponents, for all countries. That is true balance.

I've played almost every flight sim, as far back as JET. I sucked at them, too.

I also have enough sense to not post my every irritation, annoyance, or occurance of diaper rash in the text buffer or BBS.

Never once did I feel compelled to splatter the world with my opinion of someone else's coding ability for the primary fact that I have never written a flight sim and I do not believe I could do better.

Paying 15 bucks a monthe entitles you to play the game and post valid feedback. You don't like it? Spend your fifteen bucks at Chuck E. Cheese and leave everyone else in peace.

What a sad and desperate attempt to find a whine that people will get behind. For the life of me I'll never understand why people stay here and play this game if they're so unhappy with it.

Something tells me you've been here before, can't be Towd, you spell too well.

Rgr that Aztec. And what's worse is he's probably this much of a squeak to his mom when she's serves cold spaghetti or doesn't fold his laundry and put it away right.

Three years ago there wasn't to much in the way of options for a WWII aircombat game/sim type. Now there are plenty (but luckily for us there's only one HTC crew).
