Well, BOOT we could start another thread but here goes.
If you recall how I used to fly the A8 in AW?....forget about it! LOL
Flying the A8 in AH requires ALOT more discipline when picking your fights. In AW you had to have some discipline, but with the flight model being like you were turning the plane on a set of rails I could easily get out of 2 or 3 v 1's simply by being able to hold the nose up longer. Another reason was that in AW I was able to stop my roll at a precise position and start to pull back on the stick w/o worring about spinning or stalling. The flight model in AH is MUCH, MUCH different. In AH the A8 will flip over on it's back if you even think about it.
In AH, when they say keep the A8 fast they MEAN keep the A8 fast. That is precisely how I fly the A8 in AH.
One great way to decide when to fly the A8 is to look at the sector markers. If your side looks like they are taking a base and have a pretty good handle on the air superiorty part, then take an A8, keep it fast, and go have some fun

If the sector marker is not in your favor then you better know the altitude of the bogys there. I will be prone to taking an A8 if the bogys are low or mostly bombers. If the fight/bogys are high, leave the A8 on the ground for another day. If in this situation you still want to fly the FW, then take the A5 or D9.
Well that's about it for this chapter in the Dano's A8 novel
