Switching from a MS Sidewinder to a Saitek X45 ...
« on: June 01, 2002, 11:54:36 PM »
Couple Questions for yall :)

1.  Should I consider changing my scaling?  I have a typical graduated curve for pitch and rudder, nothing for roll.

2.  I've ended up programming my stick in AH, not using the profile.  What I can't figure out is how to get Modes 2 and 3 to work, any suggestions?

3.  I have Eaglers profile that I found in previous post, and have used pretty much intact (mucho thanks), but are there any other good ideas out there?

4.  Lastly, anything else I should do or consider?  The biggest problem I'm having is adjusting from the five year habit of a twisty-stick rudder to an opposite-hand rocker rudder (having a heck of a time fine-tuning my aim).

Cya Up!

I don't use the throttles forward/reverse for throttle as it makes it difficult to use rudder rocker.  I use the thumbwheel instead.
