Colors on the map

I have a little trouble with reds and greens anyway but this is killing me...

Can't we have the colors of the field names/elevations changed while leaving the field colors red/green?  I've tweaked my settings left and right and just can't make it work because the colors of the background can be different for fields.

Is there any solution in sight?  Perhaps making the field names/alts with small dark little box and white type?  I hear somebody say "Alert 33" and I'm friggin zooming and clicking and enlarging the entire map (which is a setting that won't save either; i like my map two clicks larger than the default; oddly I only need that because I can't see the field names)

I am particularly concerned about this with the new permanent pizza map coming up which will never be won  With a map that big, I'll just have to say fricket and furball by large red bars

I think changing the colour of friendlies/enemies in the Setup/Colors on the clipboard also changes the field names and elevations to the same colours - have you tried that?
