In fact, IIRC, somebody started teasing him in the buffer about it and he finally admitted he was in the volcano. I seem to remember him getting credit for over 200 kills by then.
So he did it. I think he even admitted somewhere here on the BBS that he exploited the bug.
Although, of course, he also claims he has a "legitimate" streak of considerable length.
My most memorable encounter with him was when once saw a higher 109 engaged with a friendly and headed that way, climbing to the fight. This was one of the rare times I was in a 109.
Down goes the friendly, text buffer immediately shows a kill by Fishu.
By now I'm about con range and just a bit below. I figure this higher 109 has to be Fishu and he'll be coming for me.
Wrong. He leaves and I chase. There's no one else around, so I ask him on buffer to engage. He says he's low on fuel, low on ammo, his dog is scratchin at the door, the pizza man just showed up, etc.
I chase him nearly two sectors in a 109. Now I'm low on fuel, still below him and can't catch him. I turn around; sure enough, here he comes. I turn into him: sure enough, there he goes again.
Never could get him to engage dcespite the fact that he was above me the whole sortie. Wasted a tank of electronic internet gas on that sortie.
The other thing I remember is the night he tried to tell everyone in the arena that trim tabs work differently on high horsepower aircraft than they do on low horsepower aircraft.
