Suicide Lanc and the CV

I got the kill on two of them as you can see before he sank the ship. In my First AH squad we did runs like this all the time on CV's, since those days almost 2 years ago I dont go around killing myself like this. The point behind this thread is, how come the fleat auto ack did not kill him before he could drop seams to me this would be a reasionable setting to acheave, I would of killed him sonner with the 5 inch but I had just got to the CV. If were talking about posablely limiting how bombers can dive bomb abanst Cv's because it is well silly, why not this dweabish beheaviour as well? Whear is the line being drawn on this?

Brady these types of attacks are less of a problem because as you demonstrated they easily stopped but the manned 5 inch.

But its different when you see a 15k lanc flying toward your cv and you climb up to run him down and as you get close he noses over and dives into the cv.

The same is with suicide jabos. I have np with a guy at 3 k running across a field  with rockets he will die some how.

But this is what makes typh raids so lame. They come in at 12k. You see the dar and see it coming so you up a plane and rush to intercept. Damn all typhies that blow by you at high speed nose over and ride their bombs in. Unless you happen to be in the area you wont catch umm. I dont mean catch umm to stop umm because most of the time I could less about "defending" the field I just wanna mix i up.

Also these raids normally end up hitting a base where theres no friendlies. So by the time the dar picks umm up you wont get there in time.

You end up chasing you tail for 30 min being bored.

Its not the noe attacks or low level run. While imho dweeby as hell you have the possibility of intercept.

They did dangerous attacks vs CV's in RL. Maybe not with Lancs but planes anyway. Lots of men died doing this, why not in AH?

Well the big point behind this thread was to ask why hadent the auto ack killed such a big fat lumbering target like 3 slow and low lanc's and shouldent it be adjusted acordingly, IRL fleat ack was mondo deadly, in AH it is mondo anoying. Like I have said in other threads people will always find a way to kil themselfs for whatever reasion to whater ends, it is just that their has been a rash of threads covering this topic and this was a poteintal loop hole in the planes or the atamempt to set the game up to counter this threat to CV's. That threat being the sucide dweab.

Dangerous attacks and intentional (repetitive) suicide run's are entirely different animals.
