"Diamond Girl"
"Frankenstein" -- Edgar Winter

The one by the Doobie Brothers..."without love where would we be now."  Has "Train" in the title? (I should know this one, lol)

These were popular on the radio in 1972 and 73.  Wish I could remember more, LOL.  There were also some pretty awesome black groups at that time, i.e The Chilites; Sly and the Family Stone, Isaac Hayes and many more.

for Zep i didn't see "10 years gone" or "the lemon song"

but how about Rupert Holmes "Escape"
steelers wheels "stuck in the middle with you"
don mclean "american pie"
jimi h. 12 string acoustic renditioin of "hear my train a coming"

and where was "hazy shade of winter" or "mrs. robinson"

and last but surely not least the best song from the 70's:
"Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" by the wonderful Gordon Lightfoot
I don't know what to put here yet.

Forgot about Styx, I love their music. Crystal Ball was my fav album.

As far as the Beatle's, Nifty is right.  You should include the Abbey Road album (my favorite) in it's entirity, Sgt Peppers, Magical Mystery Tour, White Album....

Styx just played here locally at one of our new "Indian Casinos".

Three Dog Night was the FREE Concert band at our City July 4th celebration and fireworks. We always get some old rock band and usually they're pretty good.
Recent Years Free concerts included:
America
The Turtles
Hermans Hermits

The kids hate it, but us old folks have a good time.

I'm going to review this thread and the older first thread.

Then I'm going to make up a playlist that I like and get all the mp3 files into one folder.

I'll zip it and find somebody to make it available for d/l.

How's that sound?

It'll take some time but I'll start tomorrow.

Thanks guys. Nice stroll down memory lane.
