Some nerve to go to the Joe and beat the Wings in their own house...

Hope it's 2-0 tomorrow. :)

Yes, chicken wings are pretty good.  I prefer Hooter's brand.  But they are not red unless they are severely undercooked.  Is that some sort of family recipe to "beat the wings in your own house" ??  As for the 2-0, I have no clue what you are talking about.

Sandman of course was telling everybody BEFORE the game that Carolina was going to win.  He won a pile of money on the game.

Care to give us a prediction for tonight and the series BEFORE tonight's game Sandman?  :)

P.S.  I'll go WAY out on a limb and say Detroit wins the next four straight.

Shannahan and Yzerman might get Olympic gold medals and Stanley Cup rings in the same year.

Has this ever happened before?

That was after game one. I expected Detroit to win this in four, but hoped that the Hurricanes would make it interesting.

Thrawn,

Ken Morrow in 1980.  Won gold with the USA in the "Miracle On Ice", then got called up for the playoffs by the NY Islanders and won a Stanley Cup.
