Well, we have our home-brew terrorists here too...

War still goes on in Chechnya, soldiers die there every day.

What stunned me is that such things happen 200m from Kremlin, and our beloved Militia does nothing to stop the hooligans!
In 1999 I worked at a concert in the Revolution square, 200m from the place where that riot started. It was horrible. We were on the sound-engineer's stand in the middle of the crowd, and only a platoon of riot militia saved us from being crashed by the crowd... Later I understood that such things can happen only in Moscow. In Krasnodar we had the same programm in open air, and it took only 2 (two) kossaks to keep the crowd away from the stand. They were extremely polite, and the crowd was friendly too, unlike what we saw in Moscow...
Nothing like that happened here before. I only can thank god that militia didn't start shooting at the crowd. Some people already say that it's Western "cultural influence"
