Cougar Crashes Winxp ???
« on: June 12, 2002, 02:06:32 PM »
I've just unpacked my Cougar HOTAS, loaded the Cougar & Foxy software exactly as instructed.

I've yet to get any stick programming done as XP keeps crashing and restarting. What's going on here??

I didn't have the problems you are experiencing... but a couple of suggestions that seem to be helping various problems:

- Make sure you've downloaded the latest drivers from Thrustmaster.
- Flash the Cougar's bios after installing the most recenet drivers

It's Bills way of telling you that you should have bought a MS product instead.

If you have ever programmed buttons in Ah set up then you
need to remove the JSMAP in settings in AH to a different
folder, there is a conflict with this & cougar.

Try it you may like it, but I do not hold any responseability for
this. :) just kidding, it should work if you ever programmed
AH stick mapping.
