Arguably the best defence versus arguably the best attack? It's gonna be big, baby. :)

I think England have to play a similar game as that against Argentina - have the midfield closing down the Brazil flair players and breaking up attacks to protect the defence.

Brazil seemed to struggle defensively, especially with balls in the air. There's gonna be chances, and England has to take them.

My prediction - penalty shootout. It's the only way England knows how to go out of a tournament. :)

Your right they do need to play the same as they did against the argies, but not the same as the last 15 mins, if we just back of they will make us pay:(

The Brazillian attack is devastating. But their defence is bloody woeful.  England must attack to win. You cant score goals in defence. Stop them yes, but attack attack attack!

England/Brazil will be the match of the tournament...but I will have to get up at 3.30am to watch it....can't see that happening on a Friday morning.:(  

Why couldn't this match be on Saturday...or at least an evening game...it SUCKS huge!

Yes, England Brazil is gonna be the definitive match I think.  The winner of this should take it all the way.

Count out Italy?  ;)  I think Korea is the one you better not be counting out in reaching the Semifinals or perhaps even the finals.  Both the Q-final and S-final will be in Korea, and that homefield advantage is playing out for them so far.

I will probably end up being wrong, but...

on June 30th in Yokohama Japan, England will become the first European team to win the World Cup away from Europe.  They'll do it against...  Korea!  ;)

Germany beats Senegal in the 3rd place match on the 29th.  

Crazy you say?  If I had predicted on May 31st that four of the eight teams in the Quarterfinals would be Korea, Senegal, Turkey and the USA, all football fans on this BBS and around the world would have said I was insane!   :D  Hell, Senegal or Turkey WILL be in the semifinals.  wow!
