Many, many moons ago C. J. "Heater" Heatley made something of a name for himself taking pictures out of F-14s.  He was, as I recall, one of the drivers in Top Gun.

Of course while Heatley was making a name in Hollywood Satrapa was just the best guns fighters in the fleet.

Then there was Glenn Thibault, who was an Air Force puke driving the F-14 in one of the most famous vid clips on line.

We now take you back to your regularly scheduled putz-fest.

I see so many startup companys, esp. in Silicon Valley - who nothing about getting product shipped. Case studies in how to waste VC bucks and go broke and have squat to show for it.

HT went off, built a better mousetrap, and keeps the overhead low (I think) and the company moving ahead. No grand ambition of porting the code to a space game, and a WWI game, and everything under the sun - just one game - his game - and done right.

Think about how rare that is these days.

I see a toe-jam tamale in yer future.
The price of Freedom is the willingness to do sudden battle, anywhere, any time and with utter recklessness...
