Ah.. well there you go Nath... that wasn't so hard now was it?

BTW.. have you seen Kate & Leopold?  Not one I would pick to see... but then there is also someone else to think about with this one.  And she happens to think Hugh Jackman is ruggedly handsome.  I used to like Meg Ryan from back in the old days... but now she looks like she's had Botox injections and collogen in the upper lip.  Oh well... the chick dug it.

As for Zoolander... that's definately a movie that you pick scenes from.  There's still some very clever humor in it.  Did you get a chance to see the movie?

Loser is one I hadn't seen before I bought it.  Sometimes its cheaper to pay $10 for a DvD than to see it in the theaters.  I did enjoy the main character in American Pie... so I thought I'd give it a shot.  I was a little disappointed and the film wasn't particularly memorable.  Did you see it by chance?

I saw fragments of the former 2 movies, and Loser in its entirety. NYC multi-plexes rule. ;)

didn't like 'em...

If you like older movie genres and Marlon Brando I would suggest looking for "The Men".

I'd rather have a root canal than watch Marlon Brando movies.  The only one I was ever able to  make it through was "The Freshman".  Apocolypse Now was the straw that broke the camel's back... it made me want to drive down to L.A. with a Machette and make sure he never made another film again.

James Garner Eva Marie Saint, good racing scenes.  I liked McQueen in La Mans also, the accident, in cut scene slow motion, was worth the price alone.  Neither are on DVD.

AKDejaVu, Enemy Mine was a good flick, Magnificent Seven also, both on DVD, wide screen format for your 16:9 monitor.;)

Deja,
As MrBill said....it was made in 1968.  Basically is about the 1967 F1 season.

The last race in the movie, run on the high banks at Monza is excellent.

And LeMans is very good as well.

I think the Quaid/Gosset movie is called Enemy Mine.

Watch Iron Monkey first - excellent movie.

Got me to thinking, a bit of math later I discovered if I watch 8 movies a day, (from my lcd disk, tape, and DVD collection), 7 days a week, I would see them all in just under 4 years. OTOH I never have a day that there is nothing worth watching. :D

I've seen Iron Monkey.. it was OK... but it was no Crouching Tiger.

Its one of the wife's choices.

I'll have to check into the Grand Prix movie... sounds decent.  Of course, "Support your local Sheriff" is a tad bit higher on the James Garner "to get" movies.

Funny, I find it equally difficult to sit through the f'ugly, bad-acting Jason Biggs' movies.

LOL!  Well.. I'm sorry his looks aren't more to your liking Nath.

As for his acting.. well... I don't recall him ever being nominated for anything nor promoted as a decent actor.  I do enjoy the roles he's in, for the most part.  He's kinda like Ben Stiller in that regard.  Not much depth.
