Author Topic: Which of New Det driver is best for Geforce 2? (Read 349 times)

I need help selecting the fastest of the newest driver for my Geforce 2 GTS under Win XP. Since the old drivers that are great for AH do not work properly for newer games(NWN,Morrowind, WC3,etc.) which would also yield almost the same as the old ones in AH.

i ran 27.10's with my gf2mx and they worked fine in everythin i played (cept ww2ol of course...but thats hardly a driver issue)

i use 28.32's with a gf4mx, they work great in morrowind and AH, mebbe givem a try and see what happens
not tried anything newer

all under XP Pro

I've had good luck with the 27.20s and the 28.32 seem to work fine as well.

I had 28.32 many stutters in WC3 even though sometimes it runs smoothly I'll try 27.10/20 thanks for suggestion Nvidia Gods

BTW Morrowind es una mierda. Es como un MMOG pero solo LOL.

I had persistent system lockup problems -- after a random interval from 2 minutes to 2 hours, the screen would go blank and the computer would freeze, requiring a hard reset -- until I upgraded to DirectX 8.1 and the 29.42 drivers. Now I don't have a problem.

running the latest drivers here 29 something i think, using winXP Pro, no probs.

btw, i'm using a Geforce 2 ULTRA 64meg
