This is pretty funny, actually.

Just a few minutes ago I bounced a rook 17 and killed him with a vertical pass in compression. He (no_names) called me on open channel and asked if I was inviso. I killed a Lanc right behind him, that actually did see me and fired too. So, I told him to look out the tower of a nearby field, as I killed a Hellcat. He must have given the guy a six call, but it didn't do much good. Yes, he could see me.

I've watched NOE 190's from the Knight's come in and go vertical after alt grabbing planes. Some of the best guys in the game can fall prey to this move. Despite sending them six calls, they still get hit. A bounce from below is seldom expected, and is usually the last place one looks.

No one has perfect SA.

Have only been in AH for about 6 mos and although I probably should not put my 2 cents in..I will anyway..the whining , moaning and name calling have definitely increased..the other night I actually saw someone calling another the "N" word..when several people jumped him about it He informed us that he was calling the other guy niger (in his words the country) although he spelled the "N" word quite correctly....Oh well...I suppose every barrell has a few bad apples

I can't see any reason LLB should have been muted.  If HTC is sick of people complaining about the inviso plane problem and general "strange goings on" in the MA then perhaps HTC should:

1) Acknowledge it as a problem
2) Give us an ETA on a resolution
3) Resolve the issue

I think everyone who reads this BBS and flies in the MA knows its connectivity is degrading.  Its a matter of tolerances...LLB just isn't willing to suffer in silence like many others.

Truth is you got goobs who'll piss and moan when they die no matter what. They are just bad sports period. And they think it is everybody elses duty to hear them cry. Whether there is a server problem or not has no bearing on their crying. Maybe the monitors are sick of hearing it. Why can't somebody get muted and just clam up and learn from it and not think the "system" is infringing on their rights?

Hmmm…  Actually I don’t.  Could you elaborate on that a little please?

I, after a few bad incidents, now record everything as well as squelch 6 and 1.  6 because I think it makes me fly better not worrying about the running kill number.  1 because of the crap about everything else except AH.

It started off as political crap that you couldn’t get someone to shut up about then it turned into a constant barrage of all various types of whining.  Whining about numbers, whining about the stupid mustang that wont stay and turn with the zero, whining about being gangbanged, just crap whining.

I love taunting and general poking jabs but in the last few tours that’s not what’s been happening.  So I gave up on one and find I enjoy flying more without reading the dribble on the open channel.  Do I send ’s and GF’s?  Not as much as before and if I do it ends up on a private channel and I never see the response.

Hell half the time I did send GF’s I got a snide remark anyway so I’m not sure that’s worth it either.

Once upon a long time from now when we do get a permanent squelch list I’ll open channel 1 back up.  Otherwise I’m content being a mushroom.
