Is there any formal training in Aces High? If not formal, then otherwise? I've flown Air Warror for DOS, and up until AW III, but I've never experienced the flight models in Aces High.

nope no formal training program, at least not as formal as we had in AW.  Mostly its just guys posting on this board and other players responding.  you might get lucky and find one of the AH trainers but you're probably going to find it easier to find a Dodo bird than one of them.

Look for a Dodo Bird? Hell, I feel like a whoopee Dodo Bird up there half the time.

But, on an unrelated note, I seem to remember a chap back on Air Warrior named Ack-Ack, yeah, he and I used to fly quite a bit together. In fact, one time he exchanged me a couple of products for an overhead account. Hehe.

That's me :)

Nice to see another familiar face in here, as you can see there are a lot of AW refugees here now so you'll be seeing a lot of other familiar faces.

Next you log in the MA, check the roster and see if I'm on.  I'd be more than happy to take you for a few rides in the P-38L or help you out getting started :)

I'm in & out of the TA on a regular basis.

Look for me late morning, & mid afternoon.
Biggest thing most AW pilots i've seen need is time spent in the planes learning the FM and the timeing.
