Axis Orders Friday tod Here was my plan. I had figured 2 groups buffs/escorts. 1 far north 1 far south following the edge of the map. I figured 51s fighter sweep up the middle.
I held back a bit longer sending everyone in waiting till I was certain the allies were coming up the middle.
I had held 332nd in 110 g2s SBM in g6 (30mm 2 x 20mm) and Groverats in 8 d9s well back near berlin.
The forward wall of 109s kicked arse. The AKs, NH, 880's went right in. I held the damned and shills North they then joined the battle from along the north flank of the allied formation. They were specifically ordered to address the 51s
By the time the 262s of 3./JG2 arrived there were few 51s left and plenty of b17s in the clouds.
The batttle raged then the 332nd, SBMs and Groverats were called in. No allied bomb fell on berlin.
