Bored at work and came up with a few ideas (HTC read pls)

first off id like to say THANK YOU HTC (all of you)...
This is a great game and id never think i could do better that HiTech. i'm totally impressed at the time and effort you must put in to keep this game to keep it running.. you are doing GREAT!!!! <>
my ideas r just that... ideas for adding enjoyment. i havent read this board before so i don't know if any of these have been suggested before so sorry for any repeats.

1. have the `/~ key that pages up the text buffer do 3 things instead of just the 2... regular size / paged up size / and unviewable. you would scroll through like fuel tanks. this would help see some of the cokpit instruments and let people ignore channel 1 if they wanted... also make for better screen shots.

2. the ability to see the quantity of bombs remaining while in the non-zoomed bombsight instead of going back to the cokpit.

3. aiming coordinates like the carrier guns for the PT boat rockets

4. customizable hangar so the planes u normaly use are on top. could be under setup.. a button called "my hangar" and u could add and remove planes and move them up and down and so forth.

5. gunsight for the carrier big guns like a panzer sight with hash marks for ranges. with the new bomber model i think it will be alot harder to kill CV's and there will be alot more CV vs. CV battles. (dont know how realistic this is but i thought they had some kind of sight to look through kinda like a periscope)

6. C47 be able to drop light vehicles (ie. half tracks.. M# and M16) you would join the C47 pilot as a gunner and he would drop you somewhere. if noone joined the vehicle would just fall to the ground and dissapear.

7. if you sit on the re-arm pad for 15 gametime min. parts of your plane would be repaired. if engine is dead it would not be replaced but oil or raidiator or ailerons could be fixed... say 3 parts fixed for every 15 min on pad.

8. a perked smoke bomb you could drop on your city to obscure it from enemies... say 4 bombs to cover a whole city. they would make it like a cloud on the ground that was about 200 feet tall.

9. if a vehicle is damaged and you sit in it for a long time.. say 45 gametime min. it would get parts repaired. in the war when a vehicle broke down they would work on it so why not do that here.(i know this 1 is a bit much to ask lol:))

10. this is a tough 1 to ask too but how about a way to use those 1000's of vehicle perks by trading them to fighter or bomber at 1/4 the exchange (ie. 1000 vehicle perks can become 250 fighter perks or something along that line)maybe even a 1/8 exchange rate. that way you wont be able to rack up perks too fast but u could put those vehicle ones to use.

11. last 1 LOL i dont know how hard this would be to program and it would prolly kill frame rates but for coastal bases have for banks roll in.. like 300 feet high of fog that covers 5k around bases ar so. i know in alot of 3d games there is "fog of war" and it seem like it would be cool to fight in. (also aren't france and england in like a perptual state of fog in real life? )

another idea.. actually Zipity said it in another post but it was a great idea... roads to go over mountains and hills better. yes the vehicles would stand out alot more and people would know where to hunt them easier. you would have to make it harder for planes to see them i think so people actually used the roads.. maybe make it lined with trees on each side and meke it so you r not visible behind trees.
that brings up another point.. trees. planes can see GV's and can swoop down on them from anywhere but if that plane is behind a tree your bullets hit the tree while he shoots and hits you. you should be able to hide behind trees (btw bigger trees r needed then lol) and not be seen by planes and stuff.

FYI< just because HTC employees don't reply, doesn't mean they didn't read it, they read suggestions, and store it in memory banks for future use if good suggestions.
