Nope.. used to drive thru there.. some weekend rides commin from (LOL!) the North Bay area. Modesto and Turlock were kinda famous back then as typical hick farm towns... and Petaluma had about a billion tons of chicken toejam stinkin up the entire Napa valley.

Yup. Lived in Walnut Creek, moved to Novato after I took over operations of the Terra Linda (San Rafael) Goodyear Service Store (was finally Goodyears District Area Service Supervisor), and I used to party hearty in Sausilito and Stinson Beach after work. Did a lot of bay sailing from Angel Island.. thats where I met up with Conners and Blackaller of the 1 Ton Cup.

But, that was 25 years ago... I hear much has changed.

You can't be speaking of Ridgecrest. Only a few of us freaks think it's beautiful.

Of course... It takes a few years for one to appreciate the desert, I think.

hehe well I was speaking generaly about the whole area (san fran area) We used to go up on mount tamalpias w/ the girlfriends all night and get romantic looking at the streets of san fran. It could be that I was 17 at the time and hadn't experienced much at that point in life, but I like to remember it as the 2nd most beautiful place on earth
