Mathman..could you check my solution?

1.10 = full time (+) for all HTC staff
1.10 - new map = 0
AKs + million hours of work = new map.
Therefor, It would seem that we would still be waiting for 1.10 without the AKs.

Thanks guys(and HTC too)

As much as many people would hate to admit, I believe your math is right on.

Thanks for the map AK's (even if you have that no good dweeb Nimitz in your squad - bring back Larry, he was much better :D).

The amount of BS surounding this new map shocks me.  The AKs had to meet a specific specification to make this map.  They met it in spades.  They gave this gift to the AH community, and they've been getting so much grief it makes me physically ill.

The amount of thought and time that went into it is incredible.  A truely incredible project.  The foresight, intelligence and artistry is astonishing.  But I guess the old saying is true, "You can please some of the people some of the time...and then you have the dickheads."

Edit: Yeah some people have some well thought out, polite critisms, but they seem to be the minority.

Poeple are squeaking :
  • Size too big. <-We'll get used to it/over it (We've been whining for MONTHS to get larger maps....)
  • Cluttering. <-Get used to it, use the zoom keys, you can now also pan the map.
  • Altitude of certain fields <-Wabbit says he's workin on it...
  • Moonlike looks <- The N1K2 is finaly home! ;)
  • Questioneable betatester: Get rid of AKCurly, he's evil !!! :D

My only gripe (personally) is the field's altitude, hope we can get a little lower (in majority).

All in all, I think some poeple are still lost/affraid... they'll get over it in time. Some won't, but then...

Give it a week or two and the Napoleons will know what field to use / hit.

I really kind of like the size of this map, I got my first kill in a plane in quite some time, O what luck! Map is so big, I caught somebody hammering away at a city, he was right on the deck, I guess he wasn't looking as I took off from the field right next to where he was doing his Rendishin of a crop duster,  seams he had lost his SA . I know ,I know, Not very sportsman like, but hey us beggers cant be choosers.:D
