H2H custom maps

I have a functional ( though ugly) map. I can launch and play it w/o those annoying DDHELP errors caused by previously misconfigured convoys, but now that I've got it ready to play, my squad mates cannot connect to me. any suggestions???

 I'm on cablemodem, with a linksys router. are there any ports that need to be open? ( online mode, and join h2h work fine)

yes u need to open ports   2600 - 6000 i believe .... and the linksy router is the cause of the invisiable bug thats going on in the main . it also needs something done to it for your game to work properly. ( I'll ask my friend tonight when he comes over about what he did to get the linksy to work correctly )as for i dont have a router yet ... as for getting friends to get ahold of ya when hosting ectera ... I run msn messenger out side the game and everyone just messages me if they want in my room . (leave its message noise ding on )

Ok.. assuming your linksys router is like mine, go to 'advanced' tab in the software setup, click on DMZ Host and set the IP to the address of the 'puter you wish to host the H2H on.

Been dinking with custom H2H arenas for a couple months.  

I like the flexibility of adding rediculous stuff... and thanks to the Mighty Eighth TOD, I've discovered the world of Free-fall entry points ( at varying alts above the terrain ) ..

Who needs to spend time grabbing to 20k to practice dive or level bombing when you can just materialize there?

Oh, btw, you can do this with boat entry.  It takes a long time for a PT boat to fall 20K  :D
