Buff Box Gunner Convergence
« on: July 08, 2002, 04:01:09 AM »
While doing some ground strafing with a B17 box,I noticed that the bullet streams of the buffs converge in a point. Just as if they were wing cannons of a tiffi;)
So far as I remember the streams of the gunning positions of one buff go parallel.

Can I change the point of convergence of the three buffs?

Can I alter the point of convergence for each bomber in the formation?
E.g. buff#1 1k, buff#2 700yards, buff#3 500yards.

Regards
Tofri

Use the Convergence button when you have the bomber in the hangar, and you'll set the convergence for not only your gunners but for the entire formation, if I'm seeing things correctly when I'm using the outside view while flying.

I'm not sure about that shiva.

I played with the convergence on the B17 and didn't notice any difference in the formation convergence. it always seem to be at about d1.0.

here is an example (convergence setting is at d650):
Mosquito VI - twice the spitfire, four times the ENY.
