naive questions about ct
« on: July 11, 2002, 06:05:40 PM »
Hello,

Since I have to buy a new computer to play the new sims, I'm considering a platform change if some of the pc options are enticing enough.

I'm curious to know:  What sort of matchups are found in the ct, and how many people can you find there on a given night?

thanx!

ik

ps one more thing, what are the icon settings?

Icon settings are 3K IIRC.

Numbers are anywhere from 5-40 on an average night US time.

S!

If you are wondering about the matchups, then do a search back through the posts on this Board, with the keyword 'setup'.  You should get quite a few samples of the types of aircraft and scenarios we create.

40ish on tonight, 9-11 CST.

A6M2s, D3As, and Ki67s vs F4F-4, P-40Bs, Hurricane Mk Is and Boston IIIs.

Fairly balanced sides, great fights with lots of Salutes handed out in both directions.

Tends to be a little on the "furball between the closest bases" sometimes, but escorted bombing missions are not entirely rare.

Other thing ik is that setup changes weekly, so if you get a real dog you don't have to wait too long for a change.  I find it very similar to WB2.7x HA, with all the good and bad that implies
