I had to look at a telivision to watch some NFL on sunday. As I was looking for games on my bunny ears I saw an comercial for a ab machine...They have those now!
Anyway this one was a bench and a type of back support with arm rests that you used by twisting your torso in all directions to work out...
I was thinking. If I could get a joystick rigged to that. So you twist your torso to use rudder, push forward for forward etc.and 5 buttons per hand pad and an excersise bike for throttle then I could be a lean mean vulchin machine in one tour!...
You could also put some movement in for the arm rests for trim or something....
There was an arcade game that had you riding a flying bike shootin down ballons. you pedaled to turn the prop and leaned to stear.. it was a rush....This could be like that....

I turn those commercials off so fast I never would have seen it. But now that you mention it... it would make a great flight sim control platform

Well, I killed two birds with one stone here at home.

See the wife was getting flabby, and complaining that I was playin AH too much...

So I got her involved in the game, and am getting her a work out at the same time.

What I do is have her stand behind my chair lightly shaking it to simulate engine vibration thru my plane, then have her tilt it left and right when I bank and tilt it forward and back for dives and climbs, the best part is when I fire my cannons, she then hasta shake the chair real hard.

For this reason it literally PAINS me when you guys shoot my plane, cuz then she starts kickin' the back of the chair, and slappin' me in the back of the head.

Total immersion fellas, ya gotta try it.

err..um....and BTW, let's not tell the wife I posted this okay?

Or you could make the sholder parts articulated for trim or something...

Interesting SOB... so I guess you'll have your "super duper barka lounger homebuilt love chair with the sub in the seat" for sale, and you'll be drinkin mineral water instead of Jack online?

<eek!> toejam, I never said I'd be using the thing, I'm just the information man!

I don't know where I'd mount the sub on that thing anyhow! I'm in the middle of switching web hosts, so my URL is kinda in limbo...
