Pintle to main gun problem

Everyone tells me they are able to aim with their pintle gun and jump straight to the main gun and be pointing in the right place.

I am unable to do this.  I can not move straight from the pintle gun to the main gun.   I must first go to the driver position before I can get to the main gun.  And then its not pointing to where the pintle gun was so I have to slew around and search for my target.

This puts me at a big disadvantage in a quick draw fight.  Has anyone else had this problem?  Do I not have soemthing configured right?

Nope, there's nothing you really need to configure Wab. Punch 3 to hop into the pintle position, get on target, then punch 2 to get down behind the main gun. Works like a charm, or at least it should. As for reasons why you can't pull it off, ya got me!

Ach!  I cant stand that!  

Why arent the different guns and their relative positions be saved when jumping from each spot in a gv?  I hate having to realign the pintle EVERY time I jump to it from the main gun.  For me, its pointed 90 degrees or some amount to the right of the main gun's position.   Is this intentional?
