Surrenders are Pointless

A field was captured while an enemy Panzer was parked between the town's duel acks.  The acks where firing but apparently not able to hit him.  I came rolling up in an M3 -- too late to capture the field but not too late to shoot at the Panzer.  The Panzer was already smoking when I showed up.  I fired most of the thousand rounds into him and knocked him off both his tracks but couldn't kill him.  He then ended his flight with no kill, no assist, and no perks for me.  I suspect that he was parked on a valid landing zone but was still 'captured' since we now had possession of that zone.  I would call this a 'surrender' and would like to see some points awarded for it.  After all, I risked my virtual life taking on a Panzer with an M3 and that should be worth something -- virtually.

This has got to be THE most annoying feature of this game. It just happened. V23 pops up as squadmate was landing his goon. Flak instantly pops up and starts spraying, I dive my 110 in an attempt to save him, I see multiple cannon bursts INSIDE his turret. I pull up a P47 nails vh and strafe flak,after he kills my squadmate. Before I can wheel my 110 around the flak exits. Now in m opinion the only way to get out of a flak should be to park it inside the hanger itself, or on a runway. Or to bail, have little guys jumping out. Get rid of this get away free business. Or enable tower in flight no one would abuse it:rolleyes:Speaking of bailing gv crews thats my favorite part in close combat your relentless tank advance nails an enemy tanks engine, crew bails, then using the pintle and hull mgs on em. Or even more fun calling in arty on them.

Yeah that bugs the crap outta me as well.
