I feel a bit sorry for her but, like her parents have said (if I saw it correctly on CNN) she's an adult. So, time to do that old "accountability/responsibility" thing.

I feel more sorry for her parents. I feel certain they've tried to help her and I can imagine only a few things more spiritually painful than to see your child addicted to drugs.

I'd even say the same about Chelsea and her folks.  ;)

y'know it must really suck to be a female scion of the BFEE. it's a mans world in the RW. they got no use for daughters. it's no wonder that noelle, jenna and barb are substance abusers. they really got no future other than marrying well, and breeding more shrubs.

hey how about that Chelsea Clinton? the one that graduated with honors from stanford?

that earned an oxford scholarship?

that prime example of a liberal up-bringing?

Probably after 6 to 8 hours in a cell and then the pic was sold for big bucks as they were promised.

Jeb's not Dubya's.

Ahh, another "leftie" way of titling a headline.  While I really don't care what peope here do (it's to be expected), I noticed the NY Times did the exact same thing.  Don't you think it may be a teenie more apropos to title it, say,  "Governor Bush's Daughter Jailed"?

Why do I doubt that had Roger Clinton's daughter been jailed 4 years ago that the press would have said "Clinton's Daughter Jailed", and then inside the articles said, oh by the way, it's Roger's daughter, not Bill's.

Yeah it may seem like a small point, but it's so typical.  A little break from the bias would be a refreshing change.  I won't hold my breath.

Don't know what her daddy had to do with it.

When my eldest daughter was a teenage, she could give an aspirin a headache.  My youngest daughter was the exact opposite. A real goody-two-shoes.  The same daddy. How do you explain that. If you think you control who your children are, your ego is way out of hand.  They are people. No matter how young they are. And it don't have much to do with what you want. Children are just a trust given to you by God, or nature (take your pick). You do the very best you can, then hope.

ok, ok, ok...  :)

When I said Clinton would have got her off,, I was thinking about his last days in office, not his own daughter.

ROTFLMFAO @ LePaul!!!  She does look like she's used up.  Maybe she can call Willis from Diffrent Strokes and go from there.

She chose to do this, not Jeb, leave him alone.

That my friend, is a GOOD looking Drug Addict. You should see some that I pick up. They put this girl to shame when it comes to looking a bit worse for wear.

Think Jeb has handed this very nicely. He's said that he loves his daughter, but at the same time said that she has to be responsible for her own acts, and that he support the court in this.

And, she's an adult. HE should NOT ne judged by HER actions.

Here in DK, the leader of one of the government parties has a son that turned out to be a drug dealer. The press is not letting that reflect badly on him and recognizes that there's a separation between the two individuals.

I hope that will be the case in the US too - despite that I intently dislike Jeb Bush.

When she thought she had her addiction under control she looked like this:

When the addiction had HER under control, she looks like this:

Quite a contrast...

I used to party quite a bit in my bartending days while attending college in the 80's, my body weight got down to 155.  I'm 200 lbs today, and when I show the pic of me as 155 to people, they don't even know it was me (minus the toejamty homemade tattoos on my arms from my teenage years)
