Wait a minute, something's wrong. . .

. . .that's it, I don't have to Squelch Channel 1!

What a pleasure it was to actually see people talking to one another, saluting one another, complimenting one another on good fights and brave deaths.  I though I'd shifted into some other reality--and then realized that I had!

Had a great time last night flying JU88s and the good old 202, both planes I'd never fly in the MA.  The only down moment was the guy who upped the P47, but I guess he must've clicked on CT when he really wanted the MA.

Couldn't believe how many people were in there last night (US time).  Great to see.

Yes,  When I came in there were 48 people in the CT! was a great time last night flew a 9 bomber ju88 mission (3 ppl with formation on).

But surprisingly I was only in 1 dogfight the entire night, cuz I was mostly flying bombing/divebombing  & Feild capturing most of the time :) I added about 5-7 deaths & 2 assists to my score!
...I think I'm improving :D;)

Welcome to AH at it's best;), Taiaha.  It warmed my heart as well to see 49 on when I got in last night to check on the arena.  Unfortunately, I was unable to sortie, as other duties called.  For what it's worth, I put the kabosh on Jugs by disabling them at the one field they were [mistakenly] enabled at.  Only complaint was from guy named Gabreski...  Wonder why he took it so hard?:p

Anyway, glad to see this set up so well received.  It really is like a whole nother game in the CT compared to the MA.  Reminds me of the beta days, when we had a half-dozen aircraft, 40-50 people on, and more fun than an alcoholic at October Fest.  Of course, I may be biased...a little...a really small amount.

When I logged in at 9pm Eastern US, there was only 1 other pilot (wMitty) who was Allied.  I switched to Axis and upped in a 202 and found him in a Dauntless over the port.  He really got that Dauntless to turn some moves, but in the end he was no match for the 202.  I was then joined by another 202 and wMitty reupped in an F4F was joined by another F4F.  I got into some great dogfights, all in one flight, and logged off just after 9:30pm.  In that time span, 6 more people had logged in and were upping, so I knew I was leaving a pretty good fight.

I'll probably be in the CT some more tonight, and for longer duration.

Was fun!
