Perk planes are priced way too high
« on: August 06, 2001, 05:10:00 PM »
No biggie really.. I don't much care about them... but in the month I've been back I've  managed to accumulate around 25 PP in each category. Yippie. Another year and I might be able to fly an Ardo...

And yet... I hear people mentioning they have 1500 plus perk points. Now... I remember from when I was on last (and they JUST came our with some perk planes to fly) that I could get 12 PP on a mission. Is this how people received the ungodly amount of PPs?

And I assume it is because some people have so many PP's, that the planes are priced way too high for anyone joining now. PP's might was as well be the padlock view for me... they are just not an issue. It is hard to understand the amount of time went into creating these planes.

Tend to agree with you.  I can see the Tempest being a perk plane, I don't know about a 70 point one though.  In my opinion, the Ta-152 shouldn't be perked at all, and if it has to be perked it should cost around 8 points, comparable to the C-Hog.

I think the Tempest should be about 30 points, the Ta152H in the 15 point range and the F4U-1C and Ar234 in the 8 point range.

Fly a C-47 and get a base capture. 12.5 Perk Points for capturing a field.
