Bulletin number is shown and can be found/verified on the TIS.

Service Bulletin: 99 01 94 (3957)                    Jan 1994
Subject: Clear Coating of Non-Metallic Paints

Models: All

Situation: As of 9/93 production all colors (solid colors and metallic) have been clear coated. This additional process on solid colors improves appearance and durability.

When calculating labor for paint processes on vehicles produced after 8/93, the times for metallic colors should be used for all colors.

And a 1994 bulletin pertains to 2002 in what way?  I did not see a "and for ever more.. amen" at the end of it.

You can do better than this.

Really rip.. just stop and think about it for a minute.  How quickly did the gang over there dismiss the information in the paint guides that Hblair provided?  How quickly did they insist that an 8 year old TSB supported their argument?

They are called blinders.

Service Bulletin: 00 01 02 (9999) Jan 2002
Subject: Complete Disregard of All Laws of Physics

Models: All

Situation: As of 9/2003 production all BMW motorcars will be able to hold a turn on a frictionless skid pad, Accelerate to Warp 9.6 in 5.4 microseconds, Encorporate a 5000 watt Stereo system with full Brass section, Include not only bullet proof glass, but RPG proof and theater grade nuclear device proof. (not safe for use with strategic nuclear devices)
As a cost saving measure the cup holder has been eliminated.

When calculating labor costs try not to giggle.

Hblair, don't let the snobs on the other BBS get under your skin, half of them bought(or were given) their BMWs for status symbols.  Personally, most of the guys in that thread were jack offs IMO.  Me, I'm just a redneck in a yuppie "fun-mobile" ;)
