I actually met him once on the beach here in Sete (south of France).
He was just a sweet old man . I still have his autograph !!
he made a quick hand trick and hid my pen in his other palm ! it was really funny that day,seeing my tough,macho hairy friends in full biker outfits chasing him like schoolgirls for autographs and handshakes ! He was a really popular guy !
Funny that we remember him here in the middle of our savage dogfights !!
