Many strange ones indeed but I have another. At present some members of the WB crowd are curious/interested in the upcoming version of AH. Some have expressed a keen interest in it.
One of the comments I read in reply to one of the curious types from a WB'er was that AH graphics weren't up to scratch. I know that some of the AH boys still haunt the WB boards.
How about, we have a Flight Sim Challenge. AH vs WB. 2 threads. One on each BBS. They put up their very best retouched shots as we do at this end. At the end of the month, One pic is voted by each crowd as their winning Pic. Then both communities vote on the decider.
HTC could hand out a free 2 week period (grand sum 7.50US?) to the winner.
AH player gets 2 weeks added to his/her account (if thats possible) WB Player gets 2 week free trial of AH to check it out.
(One of them was whining about only being able to do it once in 3 years and being given a resounding no when he asked HTC by email)
This way, we can only come out good. We (err HTC
) put up the competition. Its a pseudo kick in the guts for an already seemingly disgruntled IEN crowd who see all the action (including the 1.11 rumours which they've been crying for in their own sim) happening here.
Even if we lose, we still look good and it costs HTC $7.50.US.
To make it interesting, the losing Company HTC or IEN (or whoever runs it over there) has to display the winning pic on their page (no mention of where it is from ) for a period of 1 month.
The Screenie must be an Original from within the Home Sim. Retouch efforts have no boundaries (cepting normal nudie rules etc
)
